Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa – All Inclusive Package

For this trip, we stayed at Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa in Thailand’s peaceful resort destination of Khao Lak.

Located north of Phuket, Khao Lak is known for its quieter atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and slower pace compared to the busy areas of Phuket. It’s the perfect place for travelers looking to relax and truly enjoy a tropical resort escape.

The highlight of this stay was the resort’s incredible All-Inclusive Package, which we had been wanting to try for a long time.

The package included breakfast, plus unlimited lunch, dinner, and drinks from 11 AM until 11 PM — truly a dream for food lovers.
Without having to worry about food or drink costs during the stay, every day became an exciting experience of deciding what to eat next.

The resort offers multiple restaurants and bars, each with its own atmosphere and cuisine style, making it easy to enjoy a completely different dining experience every time.

Deluxe Large Room Pool Access Room

For this stay, we chose the “Deluxe Large Room Pool Access” room.

This spacious 50 sqm room offers direct access to the lagoon-style pool right from the private terrace, making it one of the resort’s most popular room types.
Being able to step straight into the pool in the morning or relax between the room and pool throughout the day truly elevated the resort experience.

The room features a calm natural wood design with a bright tropical atmosphere and plenty of open space.
It pairs perfectly with the all-inclusive package and is ideal for anyone looking to fully enjoy a relaxing resort getaway.

Beach Grill | Luxury Beachfront Dining with Ocean Views

The first restaurant we visited was the popular beachfront restaurant, Beach Grill.

As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in grilled dishes and offers a relaxed open-air beachfront setting. During the day, guests can enjoy beautiful ocean views, while in the evening the atmosphere transforms into a romantic sunset dining experience.

During our visit, we enjoyed:

Steak
Pan-seared seabass
Salad
Tataki

The steak was juicy and satisfying, while the pan-seared seabass had a delicate flavor that highlighted the freshness of the fish perfectly.

The restaurant also offers an excellent variety of seafood dishes, making it ideal for a tropical beach resort dinner. From light salads to hearty grilled mains, the menu felt well balanced and enjoyable.

What impressed us most was the atmosphere in the evening.
Dining while listening to the sound of the waves instantly made us feel fully immersed in resort life.

Beach Grill strikes a perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a high-quality dinner without feeling overly formal.

The Pizzeria | Authentic Italian Cuisine Inside the Resort

For lunch on our second day, we visited The Pizzeria.

This Italian restaurant specializes in pizzas and pasta dishes, offering a bright and casual atmosphere that fits perfectly with the tropical surroundings of the resort.

We ordered:

Seafood spaghetti
Quattro formaggi fettuccine
Panzanella salad
Prosciutto melon salad

The seafood spaghetti was full of rich seafood flavor and tasted surprisingly authentic for a resort restaurant.

The quattro formaggi fettuccine featured a rich and creamy cheese flavor that paired beautifully with wine.

The prosciutto melon salad was especially refreshing in the tropical heat, with the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. The panzanella salad was also light and refreshing, making the meal feel balanced and not overly heavy.

After enjoying Thai food throughout the trip, having access to such high-quality Italian cuisine inside the resort felt like a real luxury.

The Nest | A Must-Visit for Thai Food Lovers

Next, we visited The Nest, the resort’s all-day dining restaurant and breakfast venue.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisines, including Thai, Indian, and international dishes. While breakfast is served buffet-style in a lively atmosphere, lunch and dinner are much calmer and more relaxed.

We enjoyed:

Chicken masala
Yum nua yang
Khao pad sapparot
Gaeng jued

The yum nua yang featured tender beef combined with aromatic Thai herbs and spices, creating a bold and flavorful dish.

The khao pad sapparot — Thai pineapple fried rice — perfectly combined sweetness and savory flavors, giving it a wonderful tropical touch.

Meanwhile, the gentle and comforting flavor of the gaeng jued soup was perfect between the spicier dishes.

With such a wide selection of cuisines available, The Nest is an ideal restaurant for longer stays since there is always something different to try.

Poolside Bar | The Luxury of Doing Absolutely Nothing

One of our favorite spots during the stay was the poolside bar.

The atmosphere perfectly captured the feeling of a tropical resort vacation, where guests can relax by the large swimming pool while enjoying drinks and light snacks throughout the day.

There was something incredibly luxurious about swimming under the hot Khao Lak sun and ordering an ice-cold drink without even leaving the pool area.

Since everything was included in the package, it felt easy to simply relax and order another tropical cocktail whenever we wanted.

Sometimes, doing nothing while sitting by the pool with a drink in hand becomes the best part of a resort vacation.

Latitude 08 | Sophisticated Cocktail Time in the Evening

At night, we often visited Latitude 08, the resort’s elegant lounge bar.

The atmosphere here felt completely different from the daytime energy of the resort. With soft lighting, relaxing music, and comfortable seating, it created the perfect setting for a slow and peaceful evening.

Enjoying cocktails after dinner while surrounded by the calm tropical atmosphere became one of the highlights of the trip.

The resort’s ability to offer such different dining and lounge experiences within the same property made the stay feel even more special.

Le Scoop | A Perfect Café Escape for Dessert Lovers

Another favorite spot during our stay was Le Scoop, the resort’s stylish café.

The café offers a cool and comfortable atmosphere, making it a perfect escape from the tropical heat.

This time, we enjoyed:

Raspberry mousse
Apple panna cotta
illy coffee

The desserts were beautifully presented and had the elegant touch you would expect from a luxury resort café.

The raspberry mousse in particular had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, pairing wonderfully with the coffee.

However, the highlight for us was definitely the signature gelato.

Eating rich and refreshing gelato in the tropical weather of Khao Lak felt absolutely perfect, and it quickly became something we wanted to return for again and again during our stay.
