A 3-Day, 2-Night Stay at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park
I recently stayed at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park again after a while. It remains a wonderfully reliable hotel, always lively with guests.
A New Discovery in the Rooms & Practical Bath Layout
This time, I stayed in a room with tiled flooring. When I asked the hotel staff, they mentioned that the rooms come in three floor types: carpeted, wooden, and tiled—something I had never realized before! In the hot Bangkok climate, the tiled floor felt refreshingly cool and comfortable. Even with an extra bed set up, the room still felt amazingly spacious.

While bathtub rooms are available, the shower is integrated inside the tub. Personally, I prefer a dedicated walk-in shower room for ease of use, which makes this setup my favorite.
Excellent Location Ever since EmQuartier opened, staying at the Marquis has become even more convenient. You can easily reach the BTS station either through the park located right behind the hotel or by walking through EmQuartier. It is also within walking distance of the MRT, making getting around the city effortless.

Culinary Highlights
- Pagoda Chinese Restaurant Pagoda is currently hosting its first-ever Dim Sum Lunch Buffet. Usually offered as an à la carte menu, having all-you-can-eat access to their exquisite dim sum makes this lunch incredible value. Note: This buffet is an exclusive benefit for Marriott Bonvoy members. Joining is completely free, so I recommend registering before booking to enjoy meal discounts and earn points toward status upgrades.

- Akira Back Dinner at Akira Back on the top floor was another major highlight. The atmosphere feels sophisticated and luxurious at first, but inside you are greeted by stunning skyline views—making it an ideal spot for couples or special occasions. Serving innovative American-style fusion cuisine inspired by Japanese and Korean flavors, the food feels like upscale dining straight out of New York. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious.

- Rooftop Bar After dinner at Akira Back, head up to the rooftop bar for a nightcap with a view of the city skyline. If you are unsure what to order, simply tell the bartender your preferred flavor profile and let them craft a customized cocktail for you.

- Goji Kitchen + Bar Breakfast at Goji Kitchen is always one of the best parts of staying here. The extensive open-kitchen buffet spread is breathtaking and easily lavish enough to serve as a full brunch. Beyond the great selection of morning Chinese dishes, don’t miss out on their signature goji berry desserts and delicious mango pudding.

One facility I never miss during my stays is the wellness area inside the fitness unit, featuring a dry sauna, steam room, and Japanese-style onsen. It is the ultimate trio for washing away travel fatigue. It is a bit of a hidden gem that many guests overlook, but it is free for house guests and highly recommended.
