Our stay at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok was nothing short of a dream come true. Having wanted to stay at this iconic property for a long time, spending two nights in a Two-Bedroom Suite while fully taking advantage of the extensive suite privileges was an extraordinary experience. If you are looking to enjoy an exceptional luxury stay in Bangkok, this hotel comes highly recommended. For guests planning to spend plenty of time relaxing inside the property, staying in a suite and enjoying all the privileges offers incredible cost-performance as well.
The Room & Suite Benefits: Pure Luxury & Comfort
We stayed in a corner two-bedroom suite (a connecting-room setup), which is the absolute perfect option for families or groups. The master bedroom features a spacious, separate living room and its own powder room, and having two full bathrooms ensured everyone enjoyed plenty of privacy and comfort.
On top of the stunning accommodation, the Suite Privileges were remarkably generous:
- 24-Hour Signature Butler Service: Round-the-clock personalized assistance. Having freshly brewed premium coffee or TWG tea delivered straight to our suite at any hour was pure bliss. While it takes a bit of courage to ask, they even offer assistance with luggage packing!
- Evening Cocktails & Canapés (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM): A sophisticated happy hour featuring free-flow wines, sparkling wines, and signature cocktails paired with gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Guests can choose between the live jazz ambience of The Living Room or the tropical poolside vibe at The Sala. We visited both, and it is truly a highlighted time of the day.
- All-Day Refreshments: Continuous access to soft drinks and fresh juices in designated lounges. Stopping by for a refreshing drink after exploring Bangkok was a wonderful perk.
- Exclusive Premium Breakfast at Rossini’s: Beyond the main international buffet, suite guests enjoy access to an exclusive breakfast at the award-winning Italian restaurant, Rossini’s. The combination of a refined buffet and beautiful, made-to-order à la carte dishes delivered right to your table creates a visual and culinary delight. It is a fantastic perk for hotel enthusiasts, and it is also a must-know benefit for Marriott Bonvoy elite members who can access it!
- Complimentary Laundry Service: Free daily laundry service kept our wardrobe pristine throughout the stay, making it a stress-free perk for multi-night stays and post-vacation packing.

With such an impressive array of dining venues inside the hotel, our entire culinary journey was seamlessly completed on-site!
- Le Petit Chef: An immersive, 3D projection-mapping dining experience where the world’s smallest chef “cooks” right on your table. Having previously missed out on this experience when it was hosted at Banyan Tree Phuket, I was thrilled to try it here at Sheraton Grande—currently its home in Thailand! The combination of entertaining table animations and high-quality course dining made for an extraordinarily fun night that satisfied both the eyes and the palate.
- Dinner at Rossini’s: On our second night, we dined at Rossini’s, the hotel’s award-winning Italian restaurant styled like a Tuscan villa. For anyone wanting to experience Rossini’s flavors for the first time, ordering one of their great-value set courses is highly recommended.
- Thai Cooking Class & Lunch: During the day, we participated in a hands-on Thai Cooking Class led by the hotel’s professional chefs. Learning authentic culinary secrets—including extra hidden ingredients and chef tips beyond the recipe sheet—was incredibly educational. We cooked classic Thai staples: Green Curry, Som Tum (Papaya Salad), and Bua Loy (Coconut Rice Balls), followed by enjoying our freshly cooked creations for lunch!
