Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong

This time I stayed in the R Discovery Room, a recommended room at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong.

It’s 38 square meters, so it’s spacious, and the desk and couch are useful for business use.

If you stay in a room on a high floor, you can enjoy a view typical of Bangkok, and the room is very comfortable. The room’s decoration is also cool and has a design that will be liked by a wide range of business users and families.

The working desk has a chair so you can work hard, and the relaxing chair and odd man chair is a convenient set when you want to read or relax.

The beds are comfortable, and you can get a good night’s sleep.

La Tavola

The recommended lunch at Renaissance Bangkok is the Italian restaurant La Tavola. The signature truffle pizza is baked in a pizza oven.

The interior of the store is also nice and is a photogenic place. This is a very popular restaurant that is divided into two hours: lunch and dinner.

We had seafood stew with table performance, duck salad, handmade pasta bolognese, tiramisu, and hazelnut ice cream, all of which were delicious and very satisfying.

Rain Day Beauty @Quan Spa

At Quang Spa, you can feel stress released from your skin and mind with soothing treatments and revitalizing care.

Quan spa’s extensive menu includes therapeutic massages, body scrubs, facials and steam baths. I went to Quan Spa at Renaissance Bangkok to experience a rain shower treatment. This is Renaissance Bangkok’s highly recommended treatment, the Rainy Day Beauty 120mins course.

The package includes a 45-minute body scrub and rain shower, and a 75-minute aromatherapy massage to relax all muscles and improve blood circulation, perfect for relieving fatigue from your travels.

First, scrub in the rain shower stand. The rain shower table is made of stone, and this stone treatment table is warm and feels like a bedrock bath. It will gradually warm you from the core of your body.

The theme changes each month. This time it was a Paris themed set.

It is a stylish set that also comes with a mocktail that matches the theme.

Pool area

The pool is on the upper floor.

It is a semi-indoor structure, which is rare in Bangkok. It is a very popular pool because it has a roof and is semi-air conditioned, so you can use it regardless of the weather, and it is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

It’s a cool pool for adults. There is also a Quan Spa next to the pool, with a relaxing space. There is also a fitness facility right behind the hotel, and many people use the fitness and pool facility. It is also recommended for those who use it for business as it allows them to move their bodies properly.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at Flavors, the same venue as the dinner buffet.

I was impressed that breakfast in the central area of Bangkok can go this far.

The bakery is also beautiful and has sweets such as pancakes and waffles.

The restaurant’s display is wonderful, and Flavors will make you feel luxurious from the morning.

5 minutes walk to Erawan

When you book through the Renaissance play program, you get an Erawan tour.

Our concierges, who act as navigators, will guide you.

There are four gods in Erawan, and the content of prayers is different for each of the four faces. I didn’t know that until I asked the navigator. The EraOne tour was a great learning experience. Prayer sets include flowers, candles, incense sticks, fruits, and beans. It is also possible to offer a dance.

First, on the front face, pray about your studies. Turn to the left and the next face will pray about the future. The face on the other side prays for wealth, and the face on the right side prays for health and family.

There are so many things to pray for, and I wonder if it’s okay to pray so much at once? God is greedy enough to think so. But everyone’s wishes come true, so it’s very crowded every day.

Not only the reception area, but also the restaurant, housekeeping, fitness center, spa, and all the staff were very kind and made sure I had a comfortable stay.I felt that it was a Renaissance hotel.
