One of the beaches located at the southern tip of scenic Phuket. Popular with locals, there are only a few hotels, including a luxury resort called Yacht Club (now The Nai Harn), which is located overlooking the white sand beach and the sea. There is a heavenly atmosphere. It can be seen from Cape Promthep and Windmill Viewpoint, which are also famous for the setting sun. In addition, Naihan Beach was ranked 18th in the world's best beaches in 2015 on TripAdvisor.
Beach and Traffic
The dry season from November to April is perfect for swimming, and the small cove on the Phromthep Cape side is a great place for children to play in the water. During the rainy season (May-October), the waves are strong and there are many days that are not suitable for swimming, and it becomes crowded with surfers as a surfing point.
The beach is lined with several tented massages, and there is a forest slightly higher than the beach, where local restaurants are gathered. During the dry season, there are also stalls selling souvenirs. There is also a toilet and shower with a restaurant that can be used for a fee.
Bikes and bicycles can be parked near the forest. Cars have free parking behind the Nai Harn Temple, which is adjacent to the beach. There was also a taxi stand there, and the price was displayed. Nai Harn beacu is convenient because there are many beaches where parking is difficult when using a car.
A public bus (Songthaew) operates from Phuket Town. The distance from the town is about 18km. It will be via Rawai Beach.
