Island Escape by Burasari – Pool Access Room
We enjoyed a two-night staycation in a pool access room at Island Escape.
This is our third stay. Full facilities are currently open. Previously only the pool villas and splash area were available, but now the play area and lagoon area are also open.
We were surprised to see that it had turned into a huge resort. It’s great to be able to stay on such a resort-like island just a 10-minute boat trip from Phuket.
The resort has a private pier and the beach in front of the resort is also available for private use. There are two pools, the splash pool in front of the room and the main pool on the beach side. The main pool has a great view, and the splash pool can be accessed from your room, creating a perfect atmosphere for a resort stay. If you are traveling with children, we recommend a pool access room, a room near the pool, or a villa.
Deluxe Pool Access Room
The deluxe room type is 35 square meters in size. This room is spacious enough. The poolside balcony is also large, so you can relax in your room or outside.
The shower and toilet are glass-enclosed and easy to use. Best of all, the rooms are colorfully decorated and have a tropical resort feel to them. It is spacious enough for a family of two adults and a child.
Restaurant
There are three restaurants within Island Escape. It’s Everything, an international food restaurant that also serves as a breakfast buffet venue, Da Beppe, an Italian restaurant with a beautiful view, and EAT, where you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine by the beach. EAT orders fresh seafood from local fishermen, and seafood dishes are recommended.
It’s Everything
It’s Everything that can be called the main restaurant
You can also enjoy the breakfast buffet here. It gets crowded after 9am, so we recommend having breakfast during the cooler hours.
For lunch and dinner, you can order à la carte. Depending on the day of the week, you can also order from the buffet.
Da Beppe
Da Beppe is an Italian restaurant with sea views. It’s right next to It’ Everithing.
This restaurant is popular with full board package users. I’m happy to be able to order authentic Italian menu items.
EAT
EAT is a beachside restaurant specializing in Thai cuisine. We partner with local fishermen so fresh seafood is delivered daily. If you want to try seafood Thai cuisine, be sure to try authentic Thai cuisine at EAT. The Thai cuisine created by EAT’s chefs is a work of art. The flavors are well-balanced, and no matter what you order, it’s delicious! Each station has a specialized chef, and you can feel the teamwork among the chefs at this restaurant.
You can also apply for full board packages on-site, and if you order a full board that includes drinks, some packages also include spa treatments.
It is also recommended that you can experience healing every day at the spa in the bamboo area.
There are free activities held every day on the beach side, and I participated in a Muay Thai class, but it was difficult to imitate the teacher’s beautiful form. Participating in activities every day during your stay will improve your Muay Thai skills.
Other activities include yoga classes, stand-up paddle boarding, and stretching.
Thai Cooking Class
A Thai cooking class is recommended to experience Thai culture. I learned Thai cooking from EAT’s executive chef who makes very delicious Thai food.
It explains the ingredients first, so you can understand what ingredients are in it and feel like you can make it yourself. We tried making som tum, tom kha gai, pad thai, and Thai desserts. I had a really fun time and enjoyed the delicious Thai food that the teacher taught me, so I highly recommend it.
