I stayed at Renaissance Phuket for the first time in a year and a half.

Renaissance Phuket is a hotel that will impress you no matter how many times you come.

Lagoon View Room

This room is a guest room with a lagoon view.

Renaissance Phuket has two types of rooms: villa-type rooms and building-type rooms. The number of villa types is limited, so it is very difficult to book.

The deluxe room is spacious and comfortable, it can accommodate up to 3 adults and is spacious enough even with an extra bed.

There is a large sofa on the window side, and the lagoon view from the sofa is soothing.

I used to stay in a lagoon view room on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but this time I stayed on the 1st floor for the first time, and I really liked the view on the 1st floor. Best location ever.

When you go out to the balcony, the fish of the lagoon will come to you.

You can see “loca vore” (restaurant), the breakfast venue, from your room, and lotus flowers blooming in the lagoon in the morning. You can also see a Komodo dragon called the Monitor Lizard when the time is right. I am surprised because I am walking in the lagoon normally and you can see a Monitor lizard swimming!

The Lagoon Room, where you can feel the rich nature of Phuket, is my favorite room. The entire bathroom is large and very easy to use. The bathtub is also large, and you can relax in the bathtub.

Sand Box

Sandbox is an international bar and restaurant located on the beach and the pool area.

Sand is spread in the restaurant in the image of a beach. The image of a tropical resort is perfect, and the restaurant overlooks Mai Khao Beach and the Renaissance signature pool, and you can enjoy meals and drinks while relaxing as the cool wind goes by you.

Swimsuits can be worn between the sea and the pool, so you can stay by the pool all day long. The Renaissance pool area is an area for all-day use as the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the staff service is really good.

The menu includes cocktails and a full bar menu, and if you aim for happy hour, you can get a drink at a great price.

The Italian menu is especially recommended for the food menu. There is also a pizza kiln, and the combination of delicious pizza and pasta is a convincing combination. I ordered linguine with Tom Yum sauce, and it was a wonderful fusion of Italian and Thai and was delicious.

I also ordered fish and chips, which is perfect to have with a beer by the pool. With a wide variety of international menus such as Italian, Thai, and burgers, this restaurant is perfect for families.

Takieng

Takieng is the signature restaurant of Renaissance Phuket. There is a casual smart dress code, so it is not acceptable to dress too casually. However, since it is a restaurant in a resort, it is not so strict. The restaurant is also chic and very beautiful. Evening sunset time is very crowded. If you want to eat while watching the sunset, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

The food is delicious and beautiful, so if you stay at Renaissance or in the Mai Khao area, this is a Thai restaurant that you should try. Some guests walked from a nearby hotel to eat there. It is one of the most famous Thai restaurants in Phuket.

It was my third visit, but it was all delicious without disappointing my expectations.

Like last time, there is also a collaboration menu with Blue Elephant, and the menu is abundant.

I wanted to have a variety of Thai appetizers, so I ordered an appetizer platter.

In addition, I ordered Phuket’s signature dish of sea grape salad, grilled pork throat, Thai classic Tom Yum soup, green curry, and large prawn pad thai. I think that it is a very good restaurant when used for commemorative dinners. It was an image of a high threshold, but this time there were many families, and it was a peaceful atmosphere. It is attractive that you can enjoy delicious Thai food without being pretentious.

The Lounge

The lounge has started operating as a bar and restaurant.

It is located in the area right next to the reception and has a beautiful view of the scenery. The monument in front of the reception can also be seen from The Lounge, and during the sunset hours, you can watch the gradation of the sky while having a drink in the lounge.

It’s a very adult space and a place to relax.

The bar is the main, but you can also order meals from Takiang and Sandbox.

It is also recommended for those who want to eat in a calm place, not by the beach.

The signature drink was very delicious, and I was very satisfied. There are places to relax in the resort hotel, and I like everything from the design to the fashionable sense of Renaissance.

Loca Vore

Breakfast is served at a cafe restaurant overlooking the lagoon. This restaurant is currently used only at the breakfast venue and is a special place that can only be used in the morning hours.

In the morning, lotus flowers bloom and the scenery are even more beautiful.

It is a relaxing space surrounded by Renaissance greenery.

You can enjoy the view of the lagoon and garden from the outside seats, and the stylish air-conditioned interior is available.

I like both.

There is a wide variety of meals, and the made-to-order eggs Benedict and R pancakes are especially recommended! There are many menu items that children will love, such as rice with stewed pork, Thai cuisine, and a wide variety of bakeries and ice creams. And since there is a barista, you can order delicious coffee in the morning. Thai iced milk tea is also excellent.

Doppio

You can have Starbucks coffee in Renaissance.

The food menu is a Renaissance original menu and will be a collaboration cafe.

It’s a stylish cafe, so I really liked it. The garden seats are nice, and the inside of the store is air-conditioned, making it a relaxing space.

Like Starbucks, you can relax in the cafe and recommend it in the hot afternoon.

Pool Area

There are two pool areas, a children’s pool, and a signature pool, but the beachside signature pool is still recommended.

There is always a pool staff during business hours, and they will always take care of you by setting up chairs and carrying water. A stay by the pool is very comfortable with cordial service.

Garden Area

There are many lotus flowers and coconut trees on the premises, and it is a garden in the hotel where you can feel the green. There are many animals and plants that are typical of Southeast Asia, and you can experience the nature of Phuket.

The Mai Khao area is quiet and comfortable at night. It is the perfect Renaissance for those seeking healing.

Quan Spa

The place that has become a standard photo spot of Renaissance Phuket is inside Quan Spa.

This healing space is located inside the spa, and the treatment rooms are spread out around a round pond.

I had a 1-hour aroma oil massage at a popular spa, and everything was perfect.

Start with a foot bath before the massage.

I was able to feel relaxed several times more than the actual time, such as putting a foot pillow so that I could relax and designing so that the air conditioner did not hit my skin directly.

Are you only massaging with your fingers? The more you think, the more complex the finger movements will ease your stiffness.

The whole room is one-tone dark and chic. It was an hour that was unified in gray color and healed by healing. It is a spa that stands out for its good taste.

After the spa, have tea in the healing area and finish the spa. The carp swimming garden was a healing space.

Summary of the Renaissance

This is my 4th time staying at Renaissance Phuket, and it is a wonderful hotel where the sea, the garden, and the photogenic space are perfectly combined. I love Renaissance Phuket more and more every time I go. There are many stylish spaces in the hotel where you can enjoy plenty for photo enthusiasts.
