Sipping Tiger is Hot!

I headed to Sipping Tiger, currently the most energetic spot in Patong, Phuket. This visit was a non-stop series of surprises that far exceeded my expectations!

To my delight, talented guest bartenders from the highly acclaimed Bangkok bar, “Bar Sathorn,” were in the house. It was the ultimate “adult playground,” where I could indulge in world-class cocktails alongside the latest trending sweets.

The highlight of the night was a trio of cocktails that perfectly captured the philosophy of Bar Sathorn:

Bangkok Brunch: This is the famous “tomato cocktail.” Think of it as a hyper-refined Bloody Mary. The savory umami of fresh tomatoes blends seamlessly with Thai spices—truly “liquid gastronomy.” It was mind-blowingly delicious.
The PINA: A sophisticated pineapple cocktail perfect for tropical Phuket. It lacks any cloying sweetness, elegantly drawing out the natural tropical aroma of the fruit.
Thai Bee’s Knees: A Thai twist on the classic. The sweetness of honey and the zest of citrus harmonize beautifully with local herbs, resulting in a vibrant and crisp finish.

No Compromise on Dessert Quality!

Don’t let the “bar” label fool you. Beyond the extensive snack menu, the dessert quality was shockingly high.

Tiramisu: Silky smooth with a bold coffee aroma. A sophisticated, “grown-up” dessert that perfectly rounds off a night of drinks.
Dubai Chocolate Cake: They even have a cake inspired by the “Dubai Chocolate” craze taking the world by storm! The combination of rich pistachio, crunchy knafeh (thin pastry strands), and decadent chocolate was a delightfully sinful treat.

A Must-Visit for Cocktail & Dessert Lovers

While a quiet dinner at Jaras is lovely, the charm of Sipping Tiger lies in the excitement of trend-setting collaborations and a playful menu. Between the world-class mixology and the trendy desserts, it was a truly creative highlight of the Phuket’s nightlife.
