Why do you feel calm just by saying Japanese style? There is an ice machine & water server on the landing of the stairs, and a microwave oven is also placed. The place where there are even kitchen mittens is a very thoughtful service. I’m glad that you can get not only a water server but also ice for free. There is also a shop in the front area, so you can find everything you need in the hotel.
Grand Deluxe room
The Grand Deluxe Room on the 2nd floor has a stylish window, and the window sill is covered with mud so that you can relax. The entire room is a stylish space with a base tone similar to that of the reception.
Moreover, the bed mat is located on a higher floor, which is also inspired by Japanese style.
I felt that it was a great deal to be able to stay in this type of room for just over 1000B per night.
In the bathroom, the shower area is firmly separated with transparent glass, and I think it is good to keep it clean.
The bed mat is also comfortable, and even if your feet protrude from the bed mat, it will not fall down like a Japanese futon, so it is also recommended for families.
Breakfast at Bar Bowl
If you stay with a package that includes breakfast, you need to get an order table at check-in and order at the front desk by night. Breakfast is served in the bed line cafe, bar bowl.
It’s a great deal because you can order from the cafe’s menu with a la carte orders. You can also order from the café’s à la carte menu for an additional fee, which is nice because it can be arranged. Each item is set at a reasonable price, so it is a pocket-friendly cafe.
What’s more, the cafe is also Japanese style, and there is a set meal menu such as Japanese curry and hamburger steak. Of course, there is also a Thai-style bowl menu, and the menu is extensive, so you won’t get bored even if you stay for several days.

Asterisk opens at 6am. Open earlier than the breakfast venue Bar Bowl. For that reason, there are quite a few guests in the morning. Many Thai people come early in the morning, but some people come to the cafe from 6am! I was surprised.
This cafe offers authentic coffee, so it is recommended for those who want to have delicious coffee. There is a wide variety of menus such as drip coffee made with selected beans, latte with beautiful art, and signature coffee.
There are product sales, etc., and it is a coffee stand that is irresistible for cafe hopping lovers.
We had the classic latte, the non-cafe drink Fresh Prince (honey & lemon), cake and bread. If you want to enjoy an espresso bar style, we recommend the inside of the store, but if you want to enjoy a resort style, we recommend the outdoor seats by the pool.
In addition, you can enjoy coffee in the area in front of the hotel, and you can immediately see that Asterisk is popular with many seats. Afternoon hours are quite busy. But since there are so many seats, I’m sure you’ll find a place to sit.

This boutique hotel is recommended for coffee lovers and cafe lovers. Guests have discounts on both Asterisk and Bar Bowl, so this is also recommended. The accommodation cost is also affordable, so if you are staying for the purpose of Old Town, the location is good and it is a convenient hotel.
