We stayed at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort for 2 nights.

This hotel is a very popular family resort and is within walking distance to Kata Beach, but there is also a shuttle bus available. The hotel reception has a special check-in counter for children, and children can also receive a gift upon check-in.

Family Room

Room categories are divided into Superior, Deluxe, Family Room, and Suite.

Since this is a family resort, we highly recommend a family room with a bed for children. The children’s bed has cute patterned sheets and cute decorations of tents and dolls, so your child will definitely be happy!

The large room of 47 square meters is probably the secret to its popularity. The bathroom has double sinks and a bathtub, and the room also has a sink, making it an easy-to-use room type.

The other types of rooms, especially the family type, are designed to please children, and I felt that the service was attentive. There is a step for children in the bathroom, which is a great service for mothers who are raising children.

The hotel has one pool and the restaurant En Vogue next to the pool, which is busy all day long. The entire hotel has a homely atmosphere, so it is guaranteed to be a comfortable stay for families.

Poolside

The pool is located in the center of the hotel, and you can enjoy a resort-like stay with a nice pool. There is also a kid’s pool for the kids to enjoy.

There is also a poolside bar, so adults can enjoy a drink by the pool. Children can spend the day playing in the water at the kids pool and slides. Everything is gathered by the pool, including a VR room, game room, fitness room, kids room.

In Balanced Spa

The In Balanced spa is also located poolside. While the family was playing in the pool, Mom could go for a quick massage, which I thought was very convenient. When you enter the spa, you will feel the atmosphere of another space, and it is recommended for those who want to heal their tiredness.　

I got an oil massage treatment, and the therapist was very attentive. The downlit treatment room is air-conditioned and comfortable, allowing you to leave everything to the therapist. It was so comfortable that I slept for a good hour.

The hotel’s location is in the heart of the Kata area, and it’s not difficult to get to Karon Beach. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you can see the downtown area right in front of you, so I feel that the location of the hotel is one of the reasons why it is so popular.

Although it is not a new hotel facility by any means, it is a hotel where you can feel comfortable.
