We went to Jaak Din Restaurant & Bakery located inside La Green Hotel & Residence.

La Green is a new hotel and residence in the Layan area. They also focus on long-term stays.

There are also Thai restaurant Sanook and Overgrown Lounge & Cocktail Bar within the property, but this time I would like to introduce Jaak Din, the main restaurant.

In Thai, “Jaak Din” means “from the earth.” The concept of the slow food restaurant and bakery entails using only locally sourced ingredients and homemade products to create the unique flavors of each dish on the menu. Jaak Din is an all-day dining haven featuring a bakery and takeaway food counter, offering sandwiches, freshly baked bread, croissants, and other pastries. Additionally, you’ll find a wide selection of freshly roasted, aromatic coffee and various types of tea grown following local ecological standards.

100% of the menu is homemade, including herbal butter, pasta sauces, ketchup, chutneys, pasta, pizzas, bread and pastries.
