137 Pillars Suites &Residences Bangkok

This is our third time staying at Pillars.
The purpose of this time was to experience a residence-type room, a new afternoon tea, and a new Nimitr dinner course.
Pillars is a hotel and residence located in the Phrom Phong area of Bangkok, where suites are recommended for short stays where you can enjoy the skyline of Phrom Phong area, and residence types are recommended for long stays.

If you stay in a suite, you can use the rooftop pool on the top floor 24 hours a day, and have the benefit of using Borneo Lange from morning until evening. Borneo Lange maintains a comfortable lounge that is easily accessible for breakfast, snacks in the afternoon, and evening cocktails in the evening.
If you stay in the residence, you can have breakfast at the Bangkok Trading Post on the Ground floor and use the pool on the 27th floor. Bangkok Trading’s breakfast has a wide variety of order-to-order menus, including a wide selection of Japanese food. As expected, this residence has many long-term Japanese residents! This is a dreamlike residence where you can enjoy Bangkok life every day after enjoying a delicious breakfast.

Nimitr Restaurant and Rooftop Bar
FLAVOURFUL THAI CUISINE WITH SPECTACULAR SUNSET BACKDROP
Nimitr is a restaurant and bar that overlooks the Phrom Phong area skyline. We serve Thai cuisine that uses plenty of herbs.
You can enjoy dishes from all over Thailand here, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine.
I received the new course menu.
The ingredients are selected and collected unique to each area, and we are very particular about the ingredients. I had red ant eggs for the first time in Thailand. Nimitr offers ingredients and dishes that are not available in regular restaurants.
Nimitr Tasting Journey 4 Course Menu
Choose one of three appetizers.
Poo Lon served with Thai Herbs and Vegetables
Miang Kham King Scallops
Yum Bai Cha-Kam Thai Wagyu Beef
A bright appetizer. Many of the dishes are ingenious, and ingredients you normally see will turn out to be dishes you’ve never seen before.
Choose one of the three soups.
Tom Kha Gai Yang
Tom Sab Kai Mod Dang Pla Yang
Tom Yum Goong
I chose red ant egg soup. I’ve never seen Thai food before, and this is my first time trying it. You can enjoy very deep Thai cuisine.
The soup is served separately from the ingredients, and the staff pours it onto your plate.
Choose from 4 main dishes.
Kor Moo Yang
Gai Yang with Ma Kham Sauce
Gaeng Lueng Pla Salmon Southern
Massaman Gae
Thai dishes that you may have heard of are now being created in a more colorful way.
It even comes with dessert.
Kao Neaw Mamuang
Kanom Peak
This time I received a different dessert as a special, so the photo is a little different, but this is a NIMITR restaurant that offers a wide variety of à la carte dishes in addition to the course menu.
Nimitr Restaurant’s Thai course menu is perfect for a special occasion dinner.
How about spending time with your loved ones?
There is a separate children’s menu, which is perfect for families as it features non-Thai dishes like pizza and spaghetti.

Residence -1 bedroom
Pillars has residence-type rooms.
There are three types of rooms available for singles: studio rooms, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms.
Unlike suites, there is a kitchen, washing machine, and all the necessary equipment for a comfortable life. There is also a balcony, and the door can be opened for ventilation.
The one-bedroom type room we stayed in this time had a clearly separated bedroom and living area, making it ideal for a stay of two or more people. The room has a high ceiling and a stylish interior.
The bathroom is also spacious and has an easy-to-use bathtub. I quickly realized that the room was comfortable even for long-term stay. I think it’s a very good residence. Pillars is a place I would definitely like to live in at least once.
Breakfast
Pillars is recommended for a la carte breakfast. This time, I used the Borneo Lounge for an interview. (If you are staying in a residence, it is usually the Bangkok Trading Post on the 1st floor.)
It’s a morning at Pillars, which features a cool breakfast. There is a wide variety of Japanese food, and there are many selections that can be used for a long time even if you eat it every day. There is a buffet line, but I personally prefer the main menu to be a la carte.
Pillars Signature Pool
There are two pools. The rooftop pool, available only to suite occupiers, is a Pillars signature. If you wish to use the rooftop pool, please be sure to reserve a suite type room. The view is amazing as there are no obstructions on the rooftop.
However, it is quite hot during the day. After enjoying the view, I moved to the 27th floor.
All rooms can use the pool on the 27th floor. You can see the skyline from here as well. There is also a jacuzzi and a poolside bar, so you can spend a relaxing time at the pool on the 27th floor. There are also many beach chairs where you can relax.
There is Nimitr next to the pool where we had dinner.
