Mandarin Oriental Bangkok
Mandarin Oriental is the riverside of Bangkok. Although it is a prestigious English style hotel, it is very popular and familiar to Japanese people.
Ms. Ishikawa, a Japanese guest relation, is stationed at the hotel, so we can speak Japanese. She has been a butler and guest relations at a famous hotel in Thailand for many years, so she knows everything about Thailand. He is a wonderful person who can not only consult in the hotel but also travel.
Premier room

This is the most standard type of room in Mandarin Oriental, but it is a very nice guest room with blue as the keynote.

There is also a view of the Chao Phraya River, and you can feel that you are staying at the riverside.

The floor plan of the room is not rectangular, and you can fully enjoy the river view.

This room type can accommodate up to 3 adults.

The room is large enough and has a luxurious design such as a sofa and a bar counter.

This room has just been refurbished and is equipped with the latest equipment and design.

I also like the fact that it is unified in blue. The bathroom and toilet are luxurious, and the room is very easy to use.
The Author ’s Lounge

Among the Mandarin Oriental Hotels, Arthur’s Lounge is a very popular lounge for Bangkok residents and travelers.

Afternoon tea, which is open from noon to 6 o’clock, is a fascinating lounge for sweets lovers.

There are three types of Mandarin Oriental Afternoon Tea: Western, Oriental, and Vegan. The traditional Western is a recommended set, which comes in a nice book-shaped set.

Oriental is a set recommended for those who are not very good at sweets. It is an easy-to-eat set with many Thai appetizers.

The vessel is a colorful vessel with an oriental design, which is also wonderful. Speaking of afternoon tea, tea is still important. Mandarin will be TWG tea.

Due to the wide variety of teas, it took time to choose tea.

And it was a great deal to become a member of Mandarin, and every time I used the Arthur’s Lounge, we got welcome drinks and it was a very elegant time.

Afternoon tea also changes with the seasons, so don’t miss it. We had a festive afternoon tea at the time of stay, so we ordered a special version the next day.

outside is also beautiful.
The Oriental Spa

Speaking of Mandarin Oriental, the spa is famous. This time, the accommodation package included a spa, so I used it. I thoroughly enjoyed Thai massage and oil massage for 2 hours. Mandarin Spa is a spa on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River.

A ferry is always waiting at the spa. There was not only a spa but also a restaurant and a cooking class on the opposite bank, which was also a wonderful space. From the pier, you can see the Mandarin accommodation building, which is very nice.

I thought the spa was a little smaller, but it is a large hotel and the occupancy rate of the spa is amazing.

The spa requires advance reservations, but guests are constantly coming by boat.

The spa reception is designed with the warmth of traditional Thai wood in mind and is calm.

The therapist in charge will pick you up at the spa selection. I will specifically order a massage using the questionnaire.

Everyone is a polite therapist, so there is no doubt that you can rely on them. Because it is a polite treatment, you can enjoy an elegant time. Oil massage is recommended for everyone.

It feels good and makes me drowsy. Thai massage is recommended for those who want to stretch their body.
Lobby lounge

Our favorite place in Mandarin is the lobby lounge.

It was quite crowded on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but after the evening, canon started playing with three strings, and it was a fascinating place. It is a lounge where you can enjoy tea time during the day, but cocktails and alcohol are recommended at night.

We enjoyed sparkling wine while enjoying the music. It’s a very nice lobby lounge. We want to enjoy tea next time.

Breakfast @ Veranda

Mandarin breakfast is served on the Chao Phraya River. Buffet style breakfast. Sparkling wine is also available from the morning.

A selection of Western and Chinese dishes, including Thai-style coconut milk and Khao niew Mamuang (mango and sticky rice dessert).

You can enjoy an elegant breakfast with a gorgeous selection of tableware and a Mandarin style.
Breakfast – In room dining

Breakfast at in-room dining is also recommended for those who are unwilling to go out for breakfast outside the morning. You can have breakfast from your room while looking out at the Chao Phraya River, so it’s a luxury.
