【Le Meridien Phuket Maikhao Beach Resort】Hotel Review

We stayed at Le Meridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach for two nights.
Located a 10-minute drive from Phuket International Airport, Le Meridien Mai Khao Beach is a new resort facing the idyllic Mai Khao Beach.

The hotel has three restaurants, many pool access rooms, and all rooms are guaranteed to have a garden or pool view.
It’s the perfect place to relax in the hotel.

2 Bedroom Suite

This guest room has two connecting bedrooms and is recommended for families with older children. The large bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a separate toilet with a Japanese-style washlet.

Another feature of Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao is that each room has a balcony.
It is a state-of-the-art system that connects to a mobile app and allows you to order amenities and other items all through the app.

Le Meridien Mai Khao is recommended for those who want to stay in a stylish and fashionable room.

In addition, if you order breakfast from room service, you can enjoy it on your balcony or in bed, making it a special breakfast. If you stay in a pool access room, you can also enjoy a floating breakfast.

Ocean Kitchen

This is a beach club and restaurant located on the beachside.

There is also a proper bar corner, so we recommend enjoying a cocktail while swimming by the pool. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset from the Ocean Kitchen.

We recommend the Italian food. They also serve dishes such as bottarga pasta, and other ingredients that are hard to find in Phuket.

We enjoyed Mediterranean dishes such as sea bass appetizer, squid ink pasta, dried mullet roe pasta, prosciutto salad, Italian croquettes, and paella. Everything was delicious and I was impressed.

After watching the sunset, we went straight to Ocean Kitchen. Whatever we ordered was delicious, so we highly recommend it. Depending on the day of the week, you can also enjoy a fire show.

There is a Le Scoop wagon where you can enjoy recommended gelato, which is unique to Le Meridien! There is also a promotion where children of Marriott Bonvoy members can enjoy gelato for free every day, so it is recommended for families.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at . A delicious breakfast awaits you in an easy-to-follow buffet line. There is also a wide selection of Thai and Indian dishes, and the restaurant is characterized by its international selection.

Both the outdoor and indoor seating is comfortable.

This is a casual restaurant that is easy for families to visit.

Pool & Facilities

At Le Meridien Mai Khao, the guest rooms are built around the pool.

There is a pool for children and an infinity pool for adults, so you can relax comfortably by the pool.

The garden is equipped with play equipment such as archery and badminton, and there are also swings on the beachside.

The sunsets and sunrises viewed from Mai Khao Beach were particularly beautiful. Le Meridien Mai Khao is recommended for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors of Phuket.

There’s also a 24-hour fitness center and spa. The kids’ club is well-equipped with air-conditioned indoor and outdoor areas, and bike rentals for families.

Cycling

This time, We rented a bicycle for free for an hour and enjoyed cycling to the runway on Mai Khao Beach, where you can see planes taking off and landing.
It’s nice to cycle along the tranquil road about 5km from the hotel.
On the way, We stopped off at Wat Mai Khao, met a buffalo, passed in front of a local school, passed by the beachside and saw a plane landing.

It took about 2 hours of cycling. The first hour is free, and after that it costs 100B per hour. I recommend it, as 2-3 hours is enough time to enjoy cycling in the Mai Khao area.

Recommended Nook for lunch

Nook, which serves recommended Thai food, is located in the stylish area next to the reception.
It is a cafe restaurant that you can casually drop in to between hotel activities.
The restaurant also has a minimart where you can purchase drinks and necessities.

Le Meridien Mai Khao is a wonderful hotel where you can relax and enjoy yourself.
As a family-friendly hotel, it is easy for guests with small children to use, and with all the facilities, Le Meridien is a great place to spend time just inside the hotel.
