Flavours of Morocco
Enjoy an authentic Moroccan course dinner in Phuket prepared by Chef Mohamed Bellote of Angsana Heritage in Marrakech, Morocco. Savor the flavors of Morocco in Phuket.
Phuket is popular with tourists from the Middle East, and you’ll often see signs advertising Arabic cuisine, but this was my first time trying Moroccan food.
The food is easy to eat, with vegetables and beans used as the main ingredients, and there are plenty of marinated pickled appetizers. Because there are so many vegetables, the meal doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or heavy afterwards.

Tajine is a familiar name, but I don’t think there are many opportunities to experience authentic Moroccan cuisine.
Having lived in Phuket for a long time, I haven’t kept up with the trend, so this was my first time trying tagine cooking, and it was absolutely delicious.
The tea served by the Moroccans was also authentic and delicious.
We were greeted in traditional Moroccan dress, and the Moroccan-style presentation was enjoyable.
The food was well-prepared and explained, and it was an innovative Moroccan experience. It had a unique aroma of cinnamon and herbs, and while it’s a dish that some people will not like, the new flavors were fresh and fun, so I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food.
What’s more, TRE Restaurant is located in the Double Pool Villa area of Banyan Tree Phuket, giving it a very private feel.
TRE Restaurant has a different theme for each period. Until August 15th it was Moroccan cuisine, but until last month it was Korean cuisine.
Another thing that’s unique to TRE Restaurant is that you can enjoy new flavors for a limited time!
I’d like to continue trying new dishes.
