【The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok】Bangkok Hotel Stay

Westing Grande is a 5-star hotel directly connected to BTS Asoke Station and MRT Sukhumvit Station. Bangkok has a lot of traffic jams, so being directly connected to the station is a big plus.

Robinson department store and Super Tops are in the same building as the hotel, so it’s convenient.

The hotel reception is located on the 7th floor, accessed via a private elevator from the entrance. It’s a comfortable hotel where a bellhop always greets you.

The front desk on the 7th floor is always staffed, and their efficiency is outstanding. It’s a smart hotel with a lot of business guests.

Lounge access 1 bed suite room

One-bed suites located at both ends of each floor. It is divided into a living room and a bedroom, making it comfortable for a family stay.

There is a separate shower with a rain shower and a bathtub, so you can soothe your tired body after sightseeing in Bangkok.

I was honestly surprised at how comfortable Westin’s signature Heavenly bed was. When you lie down in bed, you can fall asleep quickly and wake up refreshed the next morning.

What’s great about Westin is that you can get a great night’s sleep with the extra bed as well. According to my daughter, it was her first time to have an extra bed this comfortable. While there are many hotels where the main bed is good but you can’t expect much from the extras, Westin offers a good night’s sleep guarantee for everyone.

As a well-sleep product, lavender balm is placed next to your bed, and the scent of lavender will help you sleep peacefully.

There is also a well-sleep menu in the room dining room, so you can rest your body by having granola and herbal tea before bed.

It’s rare to find a hotel brand that puts so much emphasis on sleep.

I think it’s very important because we spend a lot of time sleeping during the day.

The gowns are fluffy and the best, so Westin is recommended for those who value a good night’s sleep.

The Westin Club Lounge

The room I stayed in this time had club lounge access, so I used it several times.

If you want to relax in the hotel, we recommend a room with lounge access.

As a lounge benefit, you can order coffee, tea and soft drinks in the lounge all day long. In addition, breakfast is served from 6:30-11:30, afternoon tea from 12:00-16:00 and evening cocktails from 18:00-20:00.

It’s a relaxing lounge, so you can use it any time of the day, and we highly recommend it.

Mango Afternoon Tea

At The Westing Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, afternoon tea is held at ZEST Bar all year round. The theme changes depending on the season, but from April to June it’s mango afternoon tea.

1400B++ for 2 people. Another great feature is that you can enjoy unlimited tea or coffee for 2 hours. The opening hours are long, from 12:00 to 18:00, so you can enjoy afternoon tea at any time you like.

Kisso Japanese Restaurant

At Kisso, you can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. There are counter seats where you can meet the chef, and there is also an omakase kaiseki course.

There is also a wide selection of a la carte dishes, including snacks, fried foods, grilled foods, assorted sashimi platters, sushi platters, and hot pot menus.

A wide range of options are available, from casual style orders to kaiseki sets in private rooms. A lunch buffet is also held on weekends, which shows how popular Kisso is.

There is a 24-hour fitness center and a pool on the 8th floor that is open from 6:00 to 20:00. Both are available for free. It’s the perfect place to sweat. All rooms in the hotel are air-conditioned, so some guests came to soak up the sun and enjoy the breeze by the pool.
